lol, I hate one entire side of my family. Well, actually, that's not true. I can tolerate them, but they don't like me. I don't hunt, fish, or want to join the army, plus I enjoy martial arts and a lot of Japanese stuff. So I don't really fit in. And no, I've never had the 'Itachi Urge', as I've termed it. XD

I think he has every right to be angry, but at some point, you gotta let go. And YuugaoXRyouko was very interesting. They seemed to make a nice couple. Kind of a dynamic duo. And i'm headed to read it right now!

Oh, sure. Well, Ryouko is actually a girl's name, so that didn't really fit Yuji. Then I used Kimihiro, but that name is (a) really long to type and (b) also has kind of a soft connotation to it. I've always liked the name Yuji, and it's short and simple, so there we are.

Well, I guess that makes sense. You've got to get somebody to call him 'Yu-chan' at some point. I think that would be hilarious.

I'm going to for sure. Oh, one other reason: Someone started calling me 'Yuji' in rl, so it just stuck in my head. I don't know if he meant Yuji Sakai (Shakugan no Shana), who I supposedly resemble a little, or Yuji from Bamboo Blade, or Yuji Naka because I like video games, but there you go.

Recently I find a strange irony reading your KakaSaku fic. Without me knowing (Until someone mentioned it to me recently) I've been talking alot about a girl who works with me on the weekends. Oh yeah, there is a TON. Some of the fillers will make you facepalm, but there are some really good episodes, too. If you ever get a chance, check out the Naruto OVA "Kingdom of the Crescent Moon" (or something like that. can't remember exactly). That's one of my favorites because Sakura is really...well, useful and cute in that movie, lol.

Lol nice. And the only Naruto movie I've seen to date is the one having something to do with rainbows. That was a long time ago, so I don't remember. xD

And one of the recent episodes, with Jiraiya, made me facepalm so hard my forehead hurt. It was so funny, but dumb. xD

Rainbows...hmm. That might have been the Waterfall Village OVA. The only one I've never seen, actually ^^' Which isn't like me. I'm obsessive. I HAVE to see all of it! lol.

Oh, the one where he wants a woman, and Naruto brings him a watermelon?

No, but that was funny too! The one where Jiraiya has to finish the manuscript and send it off to the publisher of the new Make-out book. The manuscript gets switched with a peace offering from the Claw village, and Jiraiya and Naruto have to go hunt down the 'Delivery Ninja' to make the trade, but they won't give them the envelope. The lord from the Fang village opens the manuscript package, and is all excited because he's a huge fan of the Make-out series. He calls for peace immediately between the two countries.

Oh, yes, now I remember! Man, that was one ridiculous episode! The costumes on those carrier-nin were laughter inducing all by themselves.
Did Kakashi face that group of lane ninja yet? The ones he beat up, but doesn't remember, and they've had that grudge ever since?

That was in the 'Kakashi-sensei's true face' episode. Sooo funny. xD

It was? Oh, yeah! That's right, because the girl he saved fell in love with him at first site. Oh, right! Blah, I had that mixed up with another episode. I really need to watch through the series again.
So, besides Kakashi and Sakura, do you have any other favorite characters?

Hmm.... Well, I do love Lee. He was the first Naruto character I actually got attached to. My first episode of Naruto was his fight at the Chunin exam. I cried, so hard. xD

But other than that, I'd have to say I like Kiba a lot. He's a pretty badass character. And, hey, what can I say, I have a soft spot for dogs.

For me, it was Lee, Kimimaro, Asuma, and the Third Hokage. For the girls, I got a kick out of Anko, but I also really liked Hayate's girlfriend, Yuugao. Oh, and Tenten. I like weapons, so that made sense.

Oh, and I really like Shikamaru. His 'it's such a bother' attitude kinda reminds me of me, actually. but he's also an amazing strategist.

But yeah... Kakashi's my absolute #1 fave.

Shikamaru is cool. I also liked Kabuto, actually. I'm not sure why, but he struck me as cool. Oh, and Hayate the exam proctor, too. His job is similar to mine, actually.

Sakura's number one with me, lol.

lol. I'm a sucker for the strong, tsundere girls. And ponytails. lol. Ino's attitude, though...yuck. That's why Sakura always winds up with a ponytail when she's out with Yuji, lol.

Oh, I was curious about something. My other OC that I think you've read about by now, Azami- what did you think of her?

I liked her, and she and Yuji definitely had chemistry. At this point, I dunno about them as a couple though. I'm on the fence. :P

She's fun to write about. Yuji's so quiet and secluded. Azami plays off him pretty well. He's the perfect straight man for any girl character, though, lol. Thanks for your opinion on her, though :) I can't wait until you meet Asuna and Uzume. Well, their cooler forms, anyway ^^'

For some reason, my guy OC's are pathetic, and my girl OC's are way too good for any of my guy OC's.

I think you- I mean, your guy OC's- have an inferiority complex. *shrug*

lol, could be. Most likely. Yuji is based a little off me. But actually, now that I really think about it, I think I overcompensated. See, a lot of people don't like OC's because people make them into gods. Unbeatable, really cool, irresistable to the opposite sex, etc. I wanted Yuji to be different. So I did that to him consciously. If you look at my fics really closely, Yuji never just 'gets' a new power. I always say that he trained, or sacrificed something to earn it. Maybe that's why Yuji isn't universally hated yet, lol.

Sorry for the long-winded, crackpot theory on my psyche for creating my OC to be a loser, lol.

No, no, i think it's interesting. Yuji is a very likable character, simply because he works hard for everything he gets. and it's very endearing when a guy like that is so lady-shy. xD

It makes him an easy target, anway. The battle-scarred warrior who turns into mush at the mere attention of a female.

Oh! I found this chapter in a fic I did a looongggg time ago. I thought you might get a kick out of it. Back then, Ryouko was known as Ekyt (a name from another series I did), and he's taken a vow of silence at this point, for some reason I can't remember. Ryouko/Kimihiro is pretty different in this fic, and there's one couple in here that you're coming up to that I had a lot of fun writing about. It's not someone you'd normally pair my OC with, but I think it's believable.

Good find! I had a whole bunch of good ones on my last comp. A good mix of Sakura, some other Naruto characters, some Shakugan no Shana, etc. Wish I could find those specific ones again.

I watched several episodes of Shakugan no Shana and I loved it. But when I went back to Hastings to rent more, they didn't have any! I was so mad.

They discontinued the really awesome book series in the US. the manga is good, though. I'm translating the novels into english. Man, it's hard. I've learned some Japanese, but not enough to be able to just read it. I'm thankful for subbed anime now!

Just from watching subbed anime, I've picked up bits and pieces of Japanese. If they offer it at the college I'll go to, I'm totally taking it.

That's how I started taking it. Then I found a tutor, which is sometimes cheaper than taking it at college.
