Description
Another new evolution in the White Squirrisu and Squirrisu chain. The name's derived from the words squirrel and risu, Japanese for squirrel, spelled backwards.
Sketched with a 0.3 mechanical pencil, inked with a 0.1 drawing pen, coloured with felt tips. Background added with Microsoft Photo Editor and Microsoft Paint. Comments welcome! :)
On the (very) rare occasion that a White and Grey Squirrisu mate, this is the result. A bizarre combination of light and dark, Squirusir are never sure whether they’re meant to be heroes or villains; they feel they have come into the world to achieve "something great", but many of them, through no fault of their own, don’t achieve much at all because they can’t decide whether they want to save the world more than they want to destroy it...

hey christina! :)
this piece:
the perspective... wondeful! :)
it seems like he's saying "catch me if you can" or "huh? who are you?"
haha
the way you do tails are just unpredictable. in this one, it's simple yet the tail alone speaks for the character itself.
ofcourse it's got that CRwixey touch :p
rock on Squirusir!

Hi Johnny! :)
Thanks for the comments! It doesn't matter, drawing things in proportion is something I've never felt very comfortable with. I think that's why I prefer drawing animal-type things rather than humans, becasue every time I draw a human I get the proportions wrong... ^^
I originally wanted him to look more confused, but somehow I gave him two "angry" eyes instead. I never thought about the tails... but they are fun to draw and if I think back, every squirrel evolution has a differently shaped tail... which wasn't intentional. ^^

no prob. :) really? you didn't intend to draw the tails differently? hehe well that's kinda surprising. but with your pokemon artworks, the very first thing i notice is the way you do the tails. i'm fund of looking at them coz they look so cool, and if (for example) you remove/erase the body of a specific pokemon artwork of yours and just the tail remains, you could like, take a glimpse of the entire drawing of the pokemon. hehe.
well, i guess that's another effect of the CRwixey touch.
