Nova

Age: 40 (in human years), 15 (in his species years)

Nova appears in my unfinished Final Fantasy VII story, Paradox, as my character Aya's companion. He's a member of Nanaki's neighbor tribe which consists of peaceful reptilians. Nova's tribe also sports bangles and feathers just like Nanaki; pretty much the only difference between the two are their species. Nova's species reside in and protect the Ancient Forest, similar to how Nanaki's species reside in and protect Cosmo Canyon. Whereas Nanaki can only go on four legs, Nova has the ability to go on both four or two legs, an adaptation that he likes to piss off Nanaki about. Nova's species are very good at hiding so you can never really find them while traveling through the Ancient Forest. (Thanks to their ability to blend in with their green surroundings.) Bigger yet younger than Nanaki, Nova is there for his good friend Aya no matter what.
