Description
The leaf-arms were inspired by a dream I had recently, but I'm not sure where the rest came from... or the name.
0.3 mechanical pencil, 0.1 drawing pen and felt tip markers. Background added with Ulead Photo Express 2. Comments welcome! :)
Lylyth are miniature nature sprites. Highly mistrustful of humans, they make themselves invisible the moment they become aware of a human’s presence. Lylyth are gentle and peaceful creatures who enjoy tending to Berry trees and wide stretches of long grass, but can turn hostile if their habitats are damaged, slicing at miscreants with their disjointed neon leaf-arms.

I loled at the "Wixeymon" bit. funneh. And the arms look more like wings tome for some reason. It looks good, as usual, but, the arms/wings. Now if they were in front, I would see them as arms... maybe, but they're behind the Lylyth so they seem like wings.CRwixey on October 9, 2010, 12:26:40 AM

Eheheh, thanks. ^^'The arm/wing/leaf thingies look a bit odd, I was trying to recreate the way they looked in the dream, but didn't quite manage it. They were less "wing-like" in the dream and were a sort of glowy green, and went round and round like propellers...

Thank you! :)I wish I could remember how the one in the dream looked... it really annoys me when something seems so clear in a dream but fades into obscure fuzziness the moment you wake up.

I know, usually it's not the actual dream I have trouble remembering, more the details of a particular creature. The moment I start writing about it or drawing it, it starts to fade instantly and I've found the more I try to concentarte on it, the more difficult it gets.
