Splishling

Since it's nearly Halloween, I thought I'd, er... submit some pictures that had absolutely nothing to do with Halloween. Oops. Looks like I didn't leave enough time to come up with something a bit more relevant. Eheheh. ^^'

0.3 mechanical pencil, 0.1 drawing pen and felt tip markers. Background added with Ulead Photo Express 2. Comments welcome! :)

These funny little birds are easily distinguished by their origami umbrella tails and mask-like faces. Curiously, they all have hair, worn in styles reminiscent of Geisha.
Even more curious is the Splishling’s relationship with water; they’re fascinated by it, but hate having to swim in it as it ruins their colourful tails.
