the checkers DID take me a while, but surprisingly enough, the whole drawing only took me around 30 min. (including the checkers..) i was impressed w/ myself : P
i was just in a really big drawing mood. ^_^

Nicely done - that's candy to the eye!!However, my two cents woulb be: perhaps take the face and move it up a little (the eyes are s'posed to be in the middle of the skull ~roughly). The head is not too big - as someone has suggested above, rather the facia is placed just a tad too low, thus making the jaw and chin seem a bit too small, even though they really aren't, but are actually of perfect size for a girl's body. It's just that co-relation of placement can create these visual deceptions at times.
Man, I talked too long again, dang it!!! **violently stuffs a handful of old socks in his mouth, then crawls into the closet and hides, but leaves the door cracked open, so he can still stare some more at the Checkered Girl, cause it's still a damn good pic!!**

Ooh, very nicely done! I like it a lot, especially the shading, AND THE CHECKERS, but her head seems a bit small for her body, or something...x Kori x

I'm gonna guess that's you. ^_^ Very pretty gal.The detail is excellent, and the style is very unique. The realism/anime/selected-colored model is really nice, if no excelent. Lots of detail too. Must have taken forever to do the checker board dress. :D
