I agree with Izzie, you should practice rather than trace. Here's a good tip that got me on my way. All you really need to do to get better is just take your time. Draw everything slowly and carefully. Don't worry if it takes you a real long time to do a simple picture, you'll pick up speed if you keep practicing.
