Trying to forget by AddictedFreak

Believe it or not, this was actually predicted a long time ago, before my surgery. I had a LOT of homework to make up, and it was causing me a lot of stress. So, I tried to relax and forget about everything for a moment, but I had people breathing down my neck every second so I wouldn't forget. I have the type of parents who don't want me to screw up, so I'm doing the best I can. After I've done my best at things, I try to do better, but they never seem to notice.<br />

i know how you feel, and so does my friend. if she gets an A- or a B+, than her parents will get really mad at her. i like this pic because so many people can relate to how you felt, and know that they are not the only ones to have experienced bad things. i really like this pic, and it says so much. favs and it the pic of the hour

The composition of the piece is simple and says a lot. (Simplicity is always a nice thing in emotional pieces) You've been improving, I've noticed, so I'll draw something for you. ^^ It should be up in a few days, hee hee... though, I know what it feels like to have parents who expect you to always do well, but the most important part is that you do your best (cliche advice, but so true). If you can do your very best and know that you've done all that you possibly could, then that's the most important thing. You're the only one who knows whether you've did your best or not. :) Don't give other people the power of getting the best of you... you can only do what you yourself are capable of... whether they notice or not isn't something that you can help. I know it's crappy advice, but it's just what I've found to be true. But never stop drawing. Never stop putting your feelings down on paper.
