I like this picture because it is quite minimalistic, and you don't use to much detail to make it look good, which is very effective in this case.

It looks 3d and believeable, and is a great piece of fan-art. If I didn't know better I would swear I was looking at an early sketch (or some sort of sketch) of Haku, from the creators of spirited away.
