Rated it because some of the subject matter.

i guess this is an 'ode to my hero's vice'... or maybe my vice's hero. deep, huh?

i've been planning this for a while, and i think i rushed it a little to much, but i like it. it means something to me.

in case you can't read the poem, and are too lazy to zoom in, here's the words.

Nose to the table
Knees knocking tight
You know you’re not able
To make it the night

Day after day
Hit after hit
Every next rush
Making it harder to quit

She stood in the corner
There was no one to save her
She said quietly
Oh, there’s my razor

Her days were numbered
We were all certain
But no one could tell her
That this lie was a curtain

Most of us knew
It kept her alive
But only she could tell
What killed her inside

If you give it the power
It will take control
Before you follow that rabbit
Deep into his hole

Slowly but surely
…Stick it in the vein
This vice has no limits
You’ve got nothing to gain
Wake up and realize
You’re dealing with cocaine

***some credit, i guess should go to the July 6, 1981 issue of Time magazine. that's where i got the idea for the martini. which is awesome, in my opinion.

and yet another one where i get lazy and leave steven unfinished. i'll make it up to him someday soon... lol.
