agesherothis is well drawn, and i asumme pupousely made messy looking. although very sloppy. i highly dislike inuyasha AT times . but its not bad of a picture. but for god sake. make something original instead of plan old boreing fan art and for whomever read this i wish that they also see the light.

thanks for it not being a naruto picutre, or kingdom hearts.....heaven forfend

Albels_Girlwhats wrong with fanart? its how i get my anime fix when im unable to watch anime! and drawing fan art is sometimes better than original, because ppl who look at it can find the joke, or know whats going on.

AiffeI'm glad you liked it. As to it being messy-looking, it was a compromise I made in order to experiment with drawing manga. I had another page I was being super-anal about, and it was taking months to finish, so I decided I should do something simpler that I could just finish in an hour or so, in order to practice and develop my skills. Why is it so messy? Well, when you think about it, there are eight tiny pictures crammed together on one tiny piece of paper. Professional comic/manga artists use much bigger paper, but since 1) my scanner is normal-size, and 2) I was going for speed, I used regular-sized paper.

As to you disliking Inuyasha, well, this is what it is. Even more amusing is your obvious distaste for fanart in general. Everyone, direct your eyes to your URL. See it? Goooood. Fanart-Central. Not that there aren't categories for original art, but one assumes that members here have at the least found their zen with the existence of fanart.

Nor is fanart by definition "boring." Technically, all the big-name Marvel and DC comics are both fanart and fanfiction by now, with the original artists and authors having passed on the torch. Almost all cartoon animation is also "fanart." The art industry could not survive without fanart, and any professional illustrator should be able to adapt and draw other people's characters.

But forget all that. I see the light! I'm cured! I want to draw Mary Sues! Oh, and you cured my gay, too. It's a miracle!

quirkyslayerThis is a beautifully heartfelt piece. I love the emotions depicted here, and the subtle colors really fit the mood.

Wonderful job!
