Vance's mother has recently gone through a very painful divorce, and she and Vance have now moved to a small city called Sengre. Located in the southern part of Japan. Vance's mother has also recently started a News career along side her best friend Mrs. Akins, who had moved to Sengre with her husband and daughter, Kylie, about two years earlier.<br />
Vance now has to adjust to a new life far away from his old home. It's bad enough knowing that you have to start a new school and everything, but what happens when you end up having a bad run in with one of the two most feared people in the whole city. Making it worse, they even go to his new school. However, are they really as bad as Vance thinks they are, or could there be something a little more about these two?<br />
