I did this painting for my collage World Literature class. It is Polyphemus from Homer's The Odyssey. The Background is a handwritten passage of the part of the Odyssey that Polyphemus is in.
Polyphemus is a one-eyed giant/cyclops that is said to be rather dim-witted and gullible. He is the son of the God Poseidon.
