And I like em too... Any inspiration from the Yu-Gi-Oh characters? I am intrigued by the reincarnation thing: is that a Buddhist belief? You start out as a bug then work your way up in your next lives? There are several good movies/tv series/comics out there that play with that as subject matter... One being Bram Stoker's Dracula, Heaven Can Wait (original and remake), Dead Again, Witchblade, Guinevere Jones (and there are a few others similar to that one like Joan of Arcadia, and a similar one where a female Robin Hood is a descendant of the male Robin Hood)... You don't think she may have been the reincarnated Joan of Arc...? Didn't the original J of A get into regular conversations with God like Joan of Arcadia? The series ended just when things were going to get interesting... There was an opposite of her who used to talk to God (there was a hint of who was talking to him now ), but he was slowly taking over the town with subtle manipulation and the show hinted something l apocolyptic was coming (probably more locally, though) and that she had to raise an army (and the camera panned slowly over to her friends)...Alexis_Hoheimer on December 11, 2006, 11:52:22 AM
well, i thought it may be Joan of Arc at first, but then again i dont know much about Joan of Arc. Well, I got bored about 3/4 the way into the entire thing and stopped watching it. I adore their names! They sound very Hebrew/Jewish. Ishtar- similar to Issachar; a tribe of Israel. And Sarai- Abraham's wife. Isenbaum sounds very [Hollywood] Jewish, too.I dunno if you did that on purpose or what, but either way, BRAVO! *is Jewish* awesome art and awesome names! *favs pic and artist* Keep it up!
