Okay, let's clear up a few things.

The guy doesn't usually look like this, and is not a furry-type character like my catboys.
Those are supposed to be wolf-like ears, not cat ears.
With that being said, he's not a werewolf.
The circle is random.
His anatomy is off, which is partially intentional, partially accidental.

Now that every thing's covered...

This is Matthew (wow, what an original name), who is a shape shifter. Well, technically he's only half shape shifter, since his dad was human; a fact that puts him through a lot of grief during his adventures. Poor guy.
