Thanks for the advice with the poster paints. I'll try it! The petals are in a design that goes with the Dark pic so that the go together.

I am using normal paper just larger sheets of it. I do have some trouble controlling them.

My ink is running dry after three or four years of use now. What I do is put a layer of copics on and then to make the pic brighter I put a layer of Prisma color pencils on top. Yeah I need to buy new markers.

Wow! It's a nice pic! Daisuke looks very cool here! The thing which I find quite wierd are the petals behind him. You managed to draw them in different sizes but they looked too condensed, too 'focused' in one area. Maybe you can try scattering them around the picture and slowly build up the focus in the area you wanted. Also, there is another choice you might want to consider next time when you colour the petals --poster paints (however, it is quite tiring as you would need to mix some paints to get the shades, and on top of that, you would need to get a darker background to make them look distinct). It works very well with Copic. (You can try watercolours, but you'll regret it, really.)

Just a question, are you using the normal drawing paper or is the paper thicker than the usual one? If you're using those normal ones, I must say, you have a great control over those Copic ink. They simply run madly when I apply it to my drawings on those kind of paper!

I really wonder whether the ink is running dry after you've completed this pic... ... ok, forget what I've just said. Great pic!
