Serine - Fortitude

If I were to actually do the 100 themes challenge thing, I'd do it for my series Primary. But I'm nowhere near that ambitious. But, if I were to partake in it...this would be my first entry. Number 20; Fortitude. Serine. The Mindwalker. The Primary. The God.

Serine is number 1 of my Primary Warlocks. He started the organization under a ploy to do something that no one really knows about except him. How? Because he makes his fellow Primaries think they know. Were they to try and voice what it was, they couldn't. Their minds just tell them they know. Because Serine wills it.

Serine controls mind magick. Basically, if he can imagine it, it can be done. He can convince you that he's killing you when he's not doing anything at all. He can make you think you're talking to someone when your body's slitting their throat.

Serine shouldn't exist. He doesn't fit in with the balance of magickal energies; he's too powerful. And yet...he exists. Or, perhaps, maybe he's not as powerful as everyone thinks he is. Maybe he can only manipulate one thought per person. Maybe, the only thing he has to do is tell your mind that he can control everything you do and you'll believe it. Maybe he really has no power at all. But no one knows.

Because Serine doesn't want you to know.
