Uncanny said that it seems shiny. It does, but it also seems diffuse. Let me explain. The highlights do not match up with the way that you shaded it. You shaded it as if the material that you where shading was diffuse, but then you highlighted as if it was lustrous. Coloring will not turn out correctly if you try to treat one material as if it was both highly lustrous and diffuse at the same time. This may be why he said it seemed shiny, and not that it was.
