Man why does EVERYONE do pics of Victoria and Zane? lol someone should do a pic of me and jack sparrow... or bob from animal crossing... or tigger... or bugs bunny... or larry the cucumber.... 0_0

That's simple. They make the request to everyone who would accept requests.

After the request, I've added a note saying that even if I may draw requests, I do not support fictional relationships and prefer not being asked as just one artist amongst every other.

It feels kind of pointless if it's not about appreciating your art that someone request you a drawing. Requesting from about anyone just feel like a lack of consideration for the artists as individuals. 'know what I mean ? ^^'

Requests tend to come in groups. Because one person (in my case, VictoriaZepeda) asked for one, three or four others spotted the occasion and asked one too. It's some kind of a publicity system. ^^'

Maybe if you make a drawing and call it "(title) for (person)", some people could notice.

I'm not much of a requester myself, or i'd ask you one to get started.

I've already done that a couple times. But lol one of the first pics I posted was for some reason dedicated to someone not on FAC and any others have all been for MitchieSan1023 cuz shes mah bestest buddeh :3

I originally thought I'd make the hair darker, but didn't want the shadings to be too subtle, so that's what it finally gave.

The eyes are always something I put my heart into. They're the things in which I am the most confident in every new drawing, though I can't put much expression in them yet.

Which is why all my characters always look so happy. I still have to work on that. ^^'

Me too!!!! I actually LOVE drawing the eyes. It's my favorite part of the entire piece, haha. I have yet to figure out how to put the emotion in them though...lol. We shall work together on this!!!!! >D
