Lucy the black cat

This is my first cat that a drew >.< I wanted to try it out.
I had taken a pic of my cat Lacy and my mom kept telling me to draw something realistic... look how that turned that out!!! lol X]

Lacy is an all black cat btw... I was trying to shade it in like it was in the pic.

and her eye is all weird because... well the scanner made it look different than it was on the paper... and because she was looking from the side

Tell me how i did with my FIRST real cat anyway =]
