Since I'm experimenting realism in portraits, I think this is my best result. I wanted to try something different and Deidara came to my mind. Here, he looks very feminine, but it's totally on purpose. How many fiery debates appeared on forums about Deidara's gender ? He could be either a boy or a girl (even though he ended up being a male). This character was a good oppotunity to draw a mysogine male. I'm also reading about this tendency in Renaissance, when painters started to give female attributes to males. I must say I was very motivated ! :)
Now, I had some trouble with the hair... First time In draw blond hair. More like yellow actualy, like in the manga. Makes him look special... Is it because he's too tan ? This mouth is better than my previous mouths, but still not perfect. I just need practice I guess. But overall, he looks more real than any other portrait I've done until now, in my opinion. So I'm satisfied... Until I do better :)
P.S. I know he has no head band. Don't worry, I didn't forget it. I just didn't want to do it.
