The Vampire Lestat

The great thing about Twilight, is that it made me want to read the Vampire Chronicles again. Last time I read one on these books, I was fourteen and in my rebellious phase. I forgot most of the things in the story, but the recent invasion of Lestat vs Edward comics on deviantart made me want to start it again.

And I’m always glad to read a book that is better than the movies made about it. What actually shocks me about the Vampire Chronicles movies is Armand. I mean Armand is supposed to look like something like that [http://mayyeo.deviantart.com/art/Amadeo-87968945]. He’s seventeen and not very manly. And who plays him in Interview With The Vampire? Antonio fracking Banderas [http://www.best-horror-movies.com/image-files/interview-with-the-vampire-armand.jpg] ! I mean, come on. And in Queen Of The Damned (though that movie wasn’t exactly good on any point, either)? That kid [http://www.queenofthedamned.de/armandnew.jpg]. Honestly I don’t get it.

Ce qu’il y a de bien avec Twilight, c’est que ça m’a donné envie de relire la série des vampires d’Anne Rice. La dernière fois que j’ai lu un de ces livres, j’avais 14 ans et j’étais dans ma phase rockeuse. Et dans La Reine Des Damnés (même si le film n’était pas vraiment une œuvre d’art non plus) ? Ce kid [http://www.queenofthedamned.de/armandnew.jpg]. Franchement, je ne comprends pas.
