this is zozma off of saga frontier an oldschool rpg. hey THE SAME PEOPLE WHO MADE FINAL FANTASY MADE THIS GAME!!!
lol, anyweys, zozma is a renegade mystic from the land of Fancinateru. He's pretty powerful and is the only mystic that can use evil magic (thou he doesn't have the gift darnnit) uh....you find out the most about him when playing Asellus's quest. He finds interest in her and joins the team...yeah..his moves are kinda normal.(though you can teach him magic) but he increases in hp fast and absorbs high level monsters kinda easily,

Oh, I remember Zozma. I didn't even know what he really looked like (besides in sprite form) until I saw some pictures on some Japanese SF fansites. It looks like you got all the details down! :)
