Well this is Jaybird, Tsuyoshi's mother and Makoto's mate. She was killed by the leader of the Skylark Packs rival the Flyhight Pack Jumba.
She died sometime before her daughter Ayame did and she was known for her kind and caring nature and her wish to fly like the birds.
