This is a section of poster 4 that I edited with Paintshop program to look like a section from a comic book... Er.. Well that's what I was aiming for anyway. The original 4-poster series were done on 2 and 1/2 by approximately 3 foot size Mayfair Paper with LetraSet Markers; then scanned in sections on a much smaller scanner (oh what a pain that was!); then for this particular selection of Poster 4, I edited with some pixelation from HP to Paintshop. I really need to get a good art program on my 'puter... But I think I pulled it off.
The Time-Line is sometime between the Battle of Yavin and before the Battle of Endor...
Our characters have met up with or had close calls with Darth Vader, Jabba, and other characters along the way.... Our light side characters have been involved in many missions to undermine the Empire and to promote freedom and deliverance from a corrupt government through the Alliance.
This is "the scene" when Aria is trying to save her Trandoshan friend, Karnic Foe... But the Trandoshan Hit-Squad is present, along with a very evil, very powerful, dark Jedi...
Because they are out-numbered, her friends see that if they attack they will all be killed. They have no choice but to keep her from saving her friend so they can live another day.
But some day they will get Tarc! He keeps showing up in our RPG adventures when you least expect it!
(it actually turns out that the one they witnessed dying was not actually Karnic Foe: it was his brother. Much like Klingons in the Star Trek world, Trandoshans do not consider death from disease as being honourable: rather it shows weakness. Karnic's borther wanted an honourable death, and was dying from a fatal illness. He chose to take his brother's place, therefore dying with honour, like a true Trandoshan warrior. Karnic was able to go into hiding to raise his one remaining son -- a sort of witness protection program that was set up by his own sources. As far as the Rebel Alliance goes, and hopefully the Empire, the Hit-Squad and everyone else except for his close friends, he perished under the knife of Tarcan Zadayah)
