Description
This was a print I did: I manipulated it a bit with my paint program, but while I was in university in 1995 (gasp!) I used a copper square plate with which to carve this young lady with the rat on her shoulder. All four had ink rolled over and then put through an old printing press (hand-cranked). These are four separate prints with different experimentations: ie) on one I rubbed ink off before the press with a q-tip cotton swab and then rolled through the press; on one I rubbed ink off after the press; on one I just rolled a small amount of ink on before the press; and one I dipped the copper plate in a mild acid (the acid bites off some of the plating and makes a slightly different texture if you leave it for just a few minutes)...

It's great to see all the different effects you got - I like the darker one in the bottom left especially.

Thank you -- I can't remember the exact type of paper, but it was really thick and porous. Probably like watercolour paper. LOL I didn't even know it was in my gallery until just now! I just looked an hour ago and it wasn't on yet! Anyway, thanks for the comments - I'll come visit you in your gallery sometime.
