Digging through my piles to see if there's anything worth posting, I came across this little thing. Drawn in 1983, between the last of book #3 and before the issue with the GoBacks, I wasn't sure Cutter was going to survive being skewered by a mountain troll - this is a 'what if' if Leetah would have had to say goodbye to her lifemate. India ink on bristol board.

Ahh it looks unfinished! D: I adore the work here! Not many people draw ElfQuest! I am glad someone serves it justice! I always loved the bright eye shadow on her Leetah's eyes/

I've always loved EQ - though when I started reading it, it was only available in the black and white serial form. I guess I still see the series in b&w.
I've got lots of the EQ memorabilia and an original drawing Wendy did for me. It's gorgeous! Here it is being my icon on the Elfquest.com site - http://www.elfquest.com/social/index.php?do=/Arielphf/ The original is a framed 14" X 17" marker sketch and holds a place of honor in my house. It's the closest thing to fine art (other than prints) in there. ;)
