I looked through a lot of things to find some references for the automail. While looking around, I found the differences between Ed's first automail, this one, and future limbs...
I also looked up some references for his boots and belt, finding that his pants are slightly bluish in color, also.
I found a photo of a puddle in the woods, which helped a lot with figuring out how to draw a puddle.
