Aya Yurika

Just playing around with various Anime styles and thought I'd try out Kingdom Hearts art. Hence was born Aya Yurika, archaeology and paleontology extraordinaire (and rare item huntress). (Get the last name? Yurika is phonetic for Eureka! Yes, it was done on purpose.) (Also, her first name is a derivative of the Chinese/Vietnamese exclamation for exasperation and occassional mishaps. Fits in well with her personality, doesn't it?)

Aya came into the Kingdom Hearts scene rather mysteriously. After escaping from the pages of an artist's sketchbook with the use of the power of imagination, she came into possession of a warp crystal that gave her the ability to travel through the world of video games. With each world she leaves, she retains one or two rare items from the game, leaving the random player puzzled with his/her walkthrough at his/her side. It was not until she entered the world of Kingdom Hearts that Aya was finally captured by Materia thief Yuffie with the help of her friends, unfortunately not long after she manages to take not only Cloud's Buster Sword but also Sephiroth's Masamune sword, Sora's Keyblade, Goofy's Shield, Riku's glove, and other items not available in any other game. Aya eventually befriends the odd group of characters after using her searching abilities to find a rare item for them and ends up hanging around Leon/Squall, Aerith, and Yuffie most of the time. However, her temptation to acquire rare items has yet to leave her...
