Self Portrait: Professor Layton Style

I'm always intimidated by simple styles because they're deceptively hard to mimic. I think I did a decent job mimicking Professor Layton style with my MBee persona. However, I think I made my head a little too big.

Drew it in pencil, inked, scanned into the computer, and colored with Photoshop. I have trouble working with thin lines and color in Photoshop so that's why I went with inking my persona by hand rather than outline it digitally. I think it works because the art style of Professor Layton has imperfections, which give it its charm.

Even though the profile layout mimics those of the Professor Layton games, I decided on a different color scheme so as to differentiate this from the games. (My persona doesn't look very nice with the yellow and green backgrounds anyhow.)
