i like drawing copies as well as original pics. i don't have that much talent, actually, and using references for different types of pics helps me to learn how to draw better (helps with shading, posing, etc). besides, i liked this pic very much, and felt like drawing it.

What's the point of posting something thats already been done? I mean, you obviously have talent, why not put it towards being original as opposed to copying?

o thanks juli! yea the nose was better on the 2nd one b/c the panels were actually drawn in different styles. there were about 6 vertical panels showing sage in her different costumes throughout the years, and they were drawn more in the style of the time that look originated, if that makes sense. the one on the left has less detail in the face b/c that's how it was drawn. erm ok now THAT was definitely too much info. sorry i have trouble explaining myself sometimes- i can't phrase things correctly...

the faces look fine, i like the shading on the one on the right more, her nose is more shiny and looks better. Nice job on the clothes! also the poses are really cool

no prob Alex Ive always liked the Xmen since they first came out...which was around when I was born. good art and info!

and yea those are right from the comic, dabear. the one on the right is from when she was in the hellfire club, which is a secret organization of hig-class mutants who dress in 18th or 19th-century clothing (can't remember which). so all the women dress in corsets with big hair and capes and stuff. (er sorry if that was too much info. trying not to get carried away with my explanation here)<br />

Yey good job! =) The shading looks good and the faces look normal to me (Although I haven't seen her before so...) Sorry, I'll comment more later but I'm not even supposed to be on this comp right now ;)

wow these are costumes actually taken from the comic? the one on the left is typical but the one on the right is woow. both the pics faces are fantastic, I love the pouty look on the right though. I swear that looks like it could have been my char Iri. Id bet you could draw here very good! beautiful work Alex! really did very well here..I love it!
