Chevrolet, Chevrolet Bel-air Name plate and bowtie logo are copyright to GM.
The Conceptual Art work for new design is copyright to me.
When Chevroltet discontinued the F-bodies I was rather disipointed. they replaced them with the cobalt, I felt that was a friggen joke, they took a premear muscle car and replaced it with an import. The cobalt is a nice car but it will never live up to that witch it replaced (I think GM noticed that as well as rumor has it the discontinuance was lifted) but any who.
I started thinking about somthing I plan on pitching to GM at some point in time. I wanted to take a premere grossery getter and turn it into a premear muscle car (taking into conciteration what they did to the malibu as well, muscle car into a grossery getter), I finally got some ideas onto paper for a car that would apeal to all genorations of drivers as well as resurect a nameplate that Chevrolet should not have discontinued.
I based it on one of the(argueably the) most popular and highly coveted cars in the history of General Moters, that car is the 1957 Chevrolet Bel-Air.
With modernized aerodynamics merged with classic style reminisently unique of the '57 this full sized rear wheel drive sedan should be available it two and four door, hard top and convertable with optional V6 or V8 power and four wheel disk brakes.
I wanted to desigh a car that would not only sell, but also make a suitable entry into grand touring class racing as well. This body on top of it's similarity to the original is very open to customizing similar to that of modern imports to appeal to the newest generation of drivers, wile thier fathers are drawn by the desire to own one of the '57's but can't, their fathers before them who's father had one or remember having one them selves are drawn to it by memories.
I have two more angles of this, as soon as I get good pics of it I'll put them up as well. this is prolly the best I am gonna get of the original pic. I have however done another one from a similar angle with customizing done to it in the background of a pic that is still in progress seen here

"Cool rims" on the actual Vehicle (If produced)can be added by the consumer. As for this drawing it is mearly one of the original Body design drawings I'll work out some factory rims at a later date, likely a sdandard fourteen or fifteen inch alumimum rim. My primary concern at the time this was done was the body only.
