Description

Description
Bin-chan
this fursona is modeled after one of my best friends Katie and she is a gecko

Sobek version 2

Age: 16
Height: 5’2”
Weight: 120 lbs. (her tail weighs 30 pounds alone)
Anthromorph: web-footed gecko
Symbol: cross with spider-webbing
About Sobek: in Ancient Egyptian times the god Sobek was depicted at a man with the head of a crocodile that was usually praised at the banks of the Nile River. Sobek’s being was thought to emerge from the chaos when the world began. His importance made people respect crocodiles.
Special Attributes: She has a long thin gecko tail about a little more than half as long as her body, she has webbed feet and hand, and a scale pattern on her back, she also can be drawn with a long snout like a gecko- but then again I prefer not to because I like the more “humanistic” style better.
Outfit: her outfit consists of lots of fishnets- because she adores fishnets. She has leg warmers to well… keep her legs warm because she is a reptile and her strip fabric skirt allows her tail to fit much more easy. Also on her shirt is the symbol of the goddess Isis, queen of gods, and patron of women.

Supplies used: sketched in .9mm lead mechanical pencil, roller ball ink pen, and fine tip sharpie used for detailed inking, regular sharpie used for inking dark outline. Colored in Ergosoft colored pencils, blended with eraser, text redone on computer.
Black_BreezeIt's cool. The real reason I wanted to see this pic is because of the name, Sobek.

I'm glad for once someone got the information of the Egyptians right. Some people rant on so much of how their favorite egyptian god done so many things, when really those attributes belonged to someone else.

The clothes design on her is very cute. I like it a lot.

But isn't it strange to combine the symbol of Isis and the - lets say - reference of Sobek?

Anyway, this is really cool.

ren_fanThis really reminds me of DazedPink's art. Good pic though!
