Jasmine - The Rose with the Extra Sharp Thorn

One of my favourites I must say. I worked pretty hard on this. My favourite part: the background, yes the background. Done with 'paper chalk' (or so the package says). And, now that I look at it, it's kinda out of proportion....but oh well. I think it just adds to it. ^_^

Inspiration would have to be a story I'm working on...(which may very well wind up on this site). The pic? Based on but not directly related to the story. Yep. And just in case you didn't notice or can't read it, there is a little bit of writing in the bottom left hand corner. It says:

They say, every rose has its thorns...
One of my friends was thoroughly annoyed by that for some unknown reason...maybe I just have weird friends!
