Fates in Hand

I don't like the fact that this scan desaturated the shading. My shading was really good here too. D:

Anyway, these two are the underlying cause of my story. The beads they hold represent all the lives taken place at the moment. They have responsibility for taking care of the "Big Guy's" little people. Everytime a person dies, a bead falls.

So you can imagine that a lot falls at once.

Anyway, the one in the corner [they're genderless, by the way], is the more experienced, yet seemingly younger, one, taking care of the new souls that are actually the souls of the characters in my story.

The one closest to us, on the other hand, is in the moment of transferring Eshe and Ryes' souls from the after life to... Well, the "now" life. xD

My story doesn't really deal with the hardcore magic stuff, but [hopefully] it gives off the sense that there is some kind of other, magical force in this world that exists. It's not very noticible, but it's there.

And that's how the story begins. Now if I can only get it on paper form.
