Lost-Kai-Char Sketch

And here is Kai!

Kai was a name I made up a long time ago and wanted to use again so I made a character for it. Of course...I found out later that Kai was actually already a name...it means ocean in Hawaiian....but that has nothing to do with this character.
Kai was always a fox in this story and has been around as long as designs for Tez have but I could never quite decide who he was. He's been Tez's brother, assistant, apprentice, a random villager, her teacher....and now he is her boyfriend.

Poor Kai...he really is a good guy, probably the most so of all my characters. If I had my way they would all be perfect, but that is boring. He has minor faults but works hard, is really smart and rather compassionate. Actually, he is probably the most realistic in that he could exist in today’s world without being considered totally insane or a threat to society.

He, like Tez, is a doctor, but unlike her, he takes it seriously. He always really liked Tez and was constantly trying to get her to go out with him (he didn't know she had Katsu) and of course she told him no. But after Katsu was gone for a couple years (she assumed he was dead) she finally forced herself to get over him and go out with Kai. Now that Katsu is back though....there is a bit of a problem....

He gets a snazzier coat than Tez mainly to differentiate the two and because he would have one. He also has a tie because I wanted him to. It's just more fun. :3 And yes, he does have both eyes and no he is not emo. His hair simply likes to fall in front of his eye simply because I think it makes him look cooler.
