Katsu Scroll

Man, I'm really pushing it. This is my world's-most-last-minute art final. Behold! The attack of the culture! (It was required) So, since Katsu was originally rather Japanese, (I created him when I was way too into anime for my own good) I figured I'd use a Japanese style of painting/scrollish type thing to illustrate that.
And while I've done that style of painting before, it's different on a tablet (I didn't have the brushes to do it in real life)

The tiger was originally orange. Then I realized, wait, that makes no sense, everyone knows tigers are blue! So I changed it. Aesthetically, it looked better orange, now the whole picture seems too dark, but oh well I suppose.

So, I looked at a whole bunch of really old Japanese paintings and used bits and pieces as references. I must say, they drew hands and paws very strangely, not that I even drew them to look as nice as they do. Overall, this was rather fun to do, even if I stayed up really late.
