So, because I am insane, I have decided to make an anime of Lost (my tentatively titled manga, not a tv show and whatnot).
So cha, I've been playing around with flash, and let me just say, it's sooo much easier with a tablet. I have two scenes (The easy ones of course) done for the current project I'm working on, out of twelveish. Anyway, this is pretty much a screen shot. Behold! I have learned how to utilize the power of gradients!
Anyway, this is the type of quality I hope to keep throughout the entire animation, so sorry if it doesn't look too great, but as it is I might have to simplify things, because this takes forever.
And never mind the grass....it's having a bad day. Honestly, when it's moving it looks fine, but like this, it looks like some of those dead gophers the cat brings me on occasion.
Anyway, quintessential sunset pose. Whoot! It resembles the original cover (which is an awful picture, I'm happy I can draw better now) and I just realized I need to add some blood. Meh, I'll do it later.
Anyway, I'm restraining myself from posting parts of this until it's done, no matter how much I want to show off. I wouldn't want to spoil too much. So this is my compromise. Hopefully I can finish one scene a day. Tomorrow I'm going to try to block out some fighting.
Any advice on animation is much loved.

Thanks!I've thought about it a lot, and finally I figured I'd just go for it. I actually have some of the skill and a tablet now. It's still insanely time consuming, but not so bad.

at times....:I After a few tries i just gave up!..maybe some day I'll attempt
it again..damn i wish I had a tablet T__T

I didn't have one for years. Most of the digital art in my gallery is done with a mouse, I've had it since december. I've given up on so many animations, but it's so much easier now I don't think I will anymore. :3
the idea of making a flash anime sounds interesting/cool :D
I've actually thought of animating my own story many times....
