Do you have any idea how long it took me to draw that ridiculous city? 7+ hrs. You'd better enjoy it. ^.~
I promise there will be detail shots of it.
I discovered something while I was drawing this.
You can only have so much detail in one layer before flash goes insane and blows up. That was not a nice thing to learn.
This single shot is 17 layers in flash. The worst by far is the infamous "Layer 15" where the castle resides. There is so much detail in it, it takes it five minutes to register anything I do on that layer.
I am also now in love with the "paint behind" option Flash has.
Anyway, this is probably quite different from everything you've seen from Lost this far. First off, I drew a background. Wow!
To sum things up, this picture is an excellent explanation of why Katsu should have never been king. >:3
The character in the foreground is Katsu btw. Where is his usual ridiculously colored garb you may wonder? Well, it doesn't exist at this point in time, almost being killed doesn't do good things for your clothes. Luckily he fits into Kai's.
If you're wondering what all the dot stuff in the background is...it's ash and ember. For some reason (which I shan't reveal quite yet) it perpetually rains ash in this one location, yet the city will never be buried in it. Nothing grows here and never will.
Oh, and there's a few interesting things to notice here, they're fairly obvious, but they're definite hints about a major plot point. >:3
This is part of the scene I am currently animating. It's from approximately chapter four or five in the book. You'll find out more about this later.
