Description
This is an (made up) Urban legend.
In 1913, a young rich woman had walked in town, looking around. Her smile was bright like the sun.
One day, in the park. She met a handsome young man.
He was a commoner. He didn't mind that, the man was kind.
Helping people was his thing.
They both met, when a child was crying. Saying that his parents were in a fire.
The parents perished in the flames.
They took the boy to an orphanage where the woman's parents worked.
The woman's parents one day saw that two of them talking to each other and eavesdropped.
They said the two of them were perfect for each other.
That the wedding would be next month.
Almost a month later, the young man had to work, saying that he had to go over seas to deliver some packages.
on the day of the wedding. The bride waited on the hill, waiting for the groom.
She said to him "I'll wait for you to come back."
But what they didn't know was that the Groom drowned.
The Parents gave up.
But the Bride waited and waited.
Until she died.
she was still smiling.
They buried her in the graveyard the next day.
They say, on the anniversary of her death.
That her ghost is still waiting for the groom to come back.
Saying "I'll wait for you to come back."
And another will say "I miss you."
