Ureshii (Crispy meets photoshop!)

Whew... let me explain... this picture started out being just an ordinary picture I drew of Ureshii from my manga(explains the pencil-y look to it) and then a couple days later for English we were assigned to write a short story... ...so Crispy, being the non-creative baka she is, wrote up a cheesy, severely crunched-down version of her manga storyline. (I get the paper back tomorrow... keeping my fingers crossed... -__-)and so to save me time and stress, I combined the roles of a lot of characters. Anzuru and Sycanthe became one and the same, as did Asura and Ureshii. (And then there was the random old guy that appeared only in the story for lack of another idea... don't even ASK where HE came from... O_o (No idea... xD)) So, it turns out by tomorrow we can turn in some kinda art project relating to our story for extra credit (which I probably need... ^^U) and so because I'm an incredibly lazy baka, I just scanned the Ureshii picture with an unfinished background (I'll probably upload the original soon... eventually... ^^), removed the background, and played with it on Adobe for a while... took me like 3-4 hours just to sharpen the outside edges on the lines... (That is soooooooo hard to do if you use a laptop like I do... to make any lines look straight or curve the way you want them to, you need VERY steady hands... ...which I don't have. -__-) ...and then I put in the kanji for 'Death' on a random impulse (I don't know why... on the original picture it said 'blood'... O_o...) because I thought it looked pretty cool even if it made absolutely no sense... and then because in the story, I made the Ureshii/Asura person named Asura because I thought it was a cooler name (I'm pathetic... xD)and so wrote the name vertically there... and was consequently too lazy to change it before uploading to FAC. Geh... whatev. ^^ Ooh. One more thing: I KNOW IN THIS PICTURE HE LOOKS LIKE KENSHIN!! I DON'T HAVE ANY IDEA HOW THAT HAPPENED!! HE USUALLY LOOKS NOTHING LIKE KENSHIN...!! ...probably the only thing I like about this picture is how I drew the chin. I probably couldn't have done much better by hand. It just looks so... RIGHT... (VERY rare for a Crispy drawing...lol) ...and then he has the classic distortion of all Crispy pictures... a stretched-out, elongated, too-thin neck that looks like it's about to snap off... -____-... ...oh well. Whatever. ^_^ -Crispy
