Wario, sitting under a lemon tree, with the little black cat from Wario Land 4 (which actually turns out to be a princess). It doesn't really make any sense, but I wanted to try out some pastels for the background.
Sketched with HB pencil, coloured with dry watercolour pencil. Background in pastel.
Not too keen on how Wario's hands turned out. No matter how many times I practice drawing hands, I still find them hard.
I shouldn't have made the kitty quite so puffy either, but I didn't notice until I'd coloured her in. Grr...
