Description

Possibly related to the baby gargoyle and winged gargoyle in this gallery, but probably not. Started this sometime last June, but then stopped working on it because I didn't think it was going to work out right. Fished it back out of the 'rough paper' folder a few weeks ago and decided to try and finish it anyway.

I regret outlining the flames in graphic pen now, it looks more like grass instead of fire... please say what you think of it. :)

Gargoyle coloured with dry watercolour pencils, background in pastels.

You're right about the background, I had reservations about putting this one up... that's probably why I stopped working on it in the first place. I'll be careful not to do that again.

It's kinda difficult to see the difference between the monster and the background, but nontheless it's another beautiful pic ;) I like the colors and detailing a lot ;)
