Description
Description
Volpollie, the snowboarding arctic fox. It's name is a combinatin of volpe, Italian for "Fox", and ollie, a basic snowboarding move where the tail of the board is used as a spring to propel the boarder into the air.
Drawn with a 0.3 mechanical pencil, inked with a 0.3 drawing pen, coloured with felt tips. Background is an ink wash that has been darkened using Microsoft Photo Editor, and then skewed at an angle in Microsoft Paint. I found this pic on Google Images, and it was a useful reference: http://www.snowboarding-essentials.com/info/img/snowboarding/ap/1003729.jpg.
Comments are always welcome. :)
Volpollie use their oversized tails as snowboards – the underside is flat and smooth and allows for a good acceleration whilst travelling down icy slopes. It’s also good insulation, as Volpollie inhabit the coldest areas of the Pokemon world. Their garment-like fur makes them an unusual sight, but as you watch them careering down mountainsides like out of control toboggans, emitting their distinctive “waaaaa-hoooooooooooooooo” howls, you can’t help but think they really know how to have a good time.

That is so cool! Your anthro Pokemon rock! I love how you draw hands! You make it looks so easy XD Very creative; ingenius design. I love the flow of the pose; it's so fluid and lifelike. Kudos to you for your creative Pokemon designs! They're so amazing!

Doesn't sound wierd at all! In fact, that's what my mom tells me XD She just says not to think about it, because if I do, I try too hard and the hands come out all wonky. If I draw it out without a second thought; low and behold, they look like hands that belong on a person rather then a T-Rex. I need to try that more...gosh I love this Pokemon... *stares*
