Squirkame

Another evolution of Squirrisu (please see http://www.Fanart-Central.net/pic-718900.html).
The name's a combination of squirrel and kame, which is Japanese for "tortoise".

A slightly mad squirrel that thinks it’s a tortoise. So much so, it’s made itself flippers and a shell out of origami paper. How these don’t crumple up and tear in the water is a mystery. Extremely paranoid, Squirkame lives in constant fear of “low flying sharks" and only feels safe when nose-deep in the water, hiding under its shell. Squirkame is also very worried that if it goes to sleep, it’ll be eaten by vicious nocturnal sealions, so it will never allow itself more then the occasional doze at dusk. Whether its disturbed behaviour is entirely due to lack of sleep remains to be seen...
