Entry for Xiakeyra's Butterfly Wings contest. It's a hummingbird/Purple Emperor (Apaturis Iris) butterfly hybrid...

Drawn with a 0.3 mechanical pencil, inked with a 0.1 drawing pen, coloured with coloured pencils.

This is very nice. ^^ I'm in that contest too but I can't figure out which butterfly to use and what to put the wings one. >.< Once I figure out the butterfly it should be easy but I'm lazy and don't want to look through them all. ^^;;; Great job I love your combination.

I'm sorry I can't help you pick a butterfly, I guess it would depend on the sort of mood you want the picture to have... the contest deadline isn't until October anyway so you've got pleanty of time.
