Description
Eqynox didn't look so good after being shrunk down, but my computer refused to load the bigger one. Said it was "out of memory". Must be the evil influence of this creature that's messing things around... o_o'
The name's a combination of equine and nox, which loosely translates as "night".
0.3 mechanical pencil, 0.1 drawing pen and felt tip markers. Background added with Ulead Photo Express 2. Comments welcome! :)
Malevolent equine entities that mysteriously appear only when the moon is new or waning. They’ve made a habit of mercilessly haunting anyone who has the misfortune to cross their path. Eqynox have little power alone and must hunt in extremely large packs to compensate. They gain a disturbing amount of pleasure from damaging saplings and flowers by slashing them apart with their razor sharp wing-tails.

Wow, sounds like a real jerk Pokemon. Nevertheless, it is EXTREMELY cool-looking. :D

I know, right? You can't bring Tyranitar out when you're trying to catch a wild Pokemon because the sand stream will eat away the last of the wild Pokemon's HP, and you can't bring it out in a Trainer battle because then you won't be able to bring out any other Pokemon, because they'll get hurt by the sand. It's really annoying. I have a Tyranitar in FireRed, but I stopped using him. Tyranitar is still plenty useful in my Crystal game, though. :D Or was, until my game crashed. D>

Wow, how did your Crystal version crash? Thankfully I've never had the same happen to me, but then I didn't play Crystal that much.
Maybe Tyranitar could work as part of a "Sandstorm" team, where everything is immune or denefits from Sandstorms, but they'd probably get mangled by Grass and Water Types...

Well, it didn't really "crash." Its internal battery died, so I lost all my beloved Pokemon (SOB *sniff*) and now I can't play it anymore because, since its internal bettery is dead, it won't let me save the game. D:
Amd, I guess that could be done, but I like to diversify my teams, so having only a couple types of Pokemon in my team wouldn't really work for me. XD I'd die.

I've heard tales of internal batteries dying before, I'm amazed it never happened to me as I used to play my Game Boy to death. I know what it's like to lose all your 'mon, I accidentally wiped my Blue verison's data with an xploder GB cheat device... I still miss them. :(
I prefer diverse teams too, I'm no good with single/double type teams, although I've heard weather-based teams can work well.

From what I've seen, Battle Tower never ends... you fight "blocks" of seven trainers, one after another (your three-strong team is healed after each fight) until you lose.
They start of pretty easy but fights 21 onwards are more difficult. The game's AI seems to have an incredibly unfair advantage... they score critical hits suspiciously frequently and you can Double Team the heck out of your monsters but the opponent's attacks still hit home. :<

You get a silver trophy for a winning streak of 50+ and (I think) a gold trophy for 100+ wins. You get a bronze one for beating the Battle Tower's "Tower Tycoon" at battle 21. In Diamond/Pearl/Platinum the trophies can be placed in your underground "secret base"; they're placed in your bedroom in HeartGold/SoulSilver.
Each of the three Pokemon that took part in battles 21 and 50 get given special ribbons, in they win.
You also get a silver/gold print for your Battle Recorder in the Gold/Silver versions. I don't think you get anything else apart from battle points, except the satisfaction of beating some of the most evil Trainers in Pokemon history... :)

I guess so, although I can't remember the last time I felt proud during a Pokemon game... or any game, come to think of it. I tend to feel I could've "done better" all the time...
I'm finding Red/Ash easier now than the first few battles, but that Lapras drives me nuts if I don't have a strong Electric attack. ><
