Conkette

Poor Conkette. Drawn back in May, then left sitting around in the My Pictures folder forever because I couldn't think what to write in the Description section. Sometimes it seems ridiculously hard to come up with anything approaching half-decent... ><'

0.5 mechanical pencil, 0.1 drawing pen, felt tip markers and a Ulead Photo Express 2 background. Comments welcome! :)

These cute critters usually make themselves homes in the tops of the largest chestnut trees they can find. While normally docile, they have a mischievous streak and enjoy pelting unsuspecting passers-by with spiky chestnut shells.
Conkette are also far more feisty than they might appear at first glance, and like to fight; they deliberately bash into each other to hone their scrapping technique.
