Originally designed as a pre-evolution of Springbot, but now a stand-alone creature.
0.5 mechanical pencil, 0.1 drawing pen, colouring pencils and metallic markers. Background added with MS Paint. Comments welcome! :)
*** Despite being made of a tough, iron-like material, these Sproklett are far more fragile than they look. Being the gentle souls they are, they mostly keep to themselves, hidden away in the few areas yet to be disturbed by humans. Apart from the soft clicking sound of their cogwheel joints, they are completely silent. On a clear day, if you can just make out a thin trial of vapour emanating from a small thicket, there’s likely to be a small group of these deer-like creatures nearby.

Yeah... I'm not sure why it turned out that way though as I'm not really a fan of Steampunk.
