Fried Egg Metabbles

Description

Better known by the less catchy name of "Liquid Metal Slime", these infuriating egg-fried shaped blobs of mercury from the Dragon Quest series are as infamous for netting your characters a huge amount of experience as they are for running away before you can land a hit.

This started out as a Google pic of fried eggs (see here) and ended up looking vaguely Metabble-ish after being messed around with in GIMP. Hope the one at the back's Disturb-O-Stare doesn't give anyone nightmares... o_0

I just bought that game^^ They are not ""that" bad lol But the little things are so cute^^

Which version of the game have you got? The ones from the Dragon Quest Joker series aren't so bad. Maybe I was just really unlucky, but the ones in Dragon Warrior Monsters for Gameboy Color were a pain in the backside. I'd wander around for ages looking for one, only for it to zip off the screen before I could launch an attack. They had tough spells, too... ><

They're still cute though. I like how they never stop smiling even when they're getting totally bashed in.

I got dragon quest 8 and they are rare but yea cute as can be^^
